erce and Industries Rana Ihsan Afzal Khan said on Wednesday that the Prime Minister believes in consistency of policies in every field.
Talking to a private news channel, he said that like every field, the betterment of cricket needs consistency of policies.
The Prime Minister gave responsibilities to the Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), and he, af
ter assuming charge, introduced the best policies, he added.
He said that although the PCB was an autonomous body, the PM dir
ected to ensure the merit.
The current performance of the Pakistan cricket team is not satisfactory, but the consistency of policies will show improvement, he added.
He said that the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) government, in its past tenures, invested in youth in terms of youth f
estivals and sports f
estivals.
The government is invested in sports activities so that the best results can be achieved, he added.
