ISLAMABAD, Aug 13 (APP):Director of the National Institute of Historical and Cultural Research (NIHCR) at Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad Dr. Sajid Awan Tuesday urged the younger generation to remember the monumental efforts and sacrifices of those who fought tirelessly for the freedom of Pakistan, where millions of lives were lost in the struggle for a separate homeland.
In an Interview with PTV news channel, he emphasized the significance of understanding and honoring the country’s rich history, cultural heritage, and the unwavering resolve of its founding fathers, to inspire a sense of ownership and responsibility among the youth to take the nation forward.
The Director of NIHCR also stressed the need for the younger generation to recognize the immense efforts of those who fought for Pakistan’s independence, including the likes of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Allama Muhammad Iqbal, and countless others who laid down their lives for the cause.
Dr. Awan’s message served as a reminder to the youth to stay connected to their roots and take pride in their national identity. He encouraged them to draw inspiration from the country’s rich history and cultural heritage to become active contributors to Pakistan’s progress and prosperity.
